IT Director (m/w/d) at YoungCapital Köln

YoungCapital is established in the Netherlands, from where we expanded our markets/business. Our German business is taking off and is in need of more specialized technical solutions. That is why we are looking for an IT Director who can bring our technical solutions and knowledge to the next level. Interested in this exciting opportunity? Then you might be the person we are looking for. 

You will be responsible for establishing the technical vision for our business in Germany; you will play a key role in defining new products, not just creating them, as well as working out the technical roadmap. An opportunity to shape a brilliant tech organization. The IT Director plays an integral role in setting the company’s strategic direction, development and future growth. The IT Director will reportboth to the CTO of the YoungCapital Group as well as the Managing Director Germany.

As IT Director Germany, your tasks comprise:

• Identify opportunities and risks for delivering the company’s product and solutions to fulfill our customer needs internally and externally
• Formulate, articulate and execute the products and solutions roadmap based on YoungCapital needs, market understanding, and the newest trends
• You will be in charge of the YoungCapital Germany tech strategy, working closely together with our dutch product/development team
• Responsible for employee development, setting priorities, managing resources and assuring on-time delivery with outstanding quality
• According to the newest market trends you will take the initiative and make decisions accordingly, that will make a difference and have an impact within and outside our company
• You need to be able to evaluate and recruit new headcount, for the tech part of YoungCapital Germany
• You will help create the teams and provide them with direction and vision. Furthermore, you ensure your team operates at a high performance, providing them with feedback and coaching where needed
• You have extensive experience with ERP software; German ERP software is a major plus
• You are able to do parts of the product management yourself till it is needed to staff a full time position
• You are responsible for managing the German systems management department while working closely with our Dutch colleagues 
• You are responsible for the Application Management department which configures and manages our bought in ERP system 
• You are able to travel twice a month to the HQ in the Netherlands
