Senior Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d) in Ulm

For our global eDevelopment, we are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d) at our location in Ulm.

Tasks

• Define and implement connectivity and application software architectures from the first idea to series production and operation
• Design and implement embedded IoT application and connectivity software components
• Develop modern Linux based IoT connectivity system solutions
• Prepare and Support early prototyping of various connectivity standards and upcoming IoT technologies
• Bring prototypes to product level and support system integration and testing

Qualifications

• B.Sc./ M.Sc. Computer Science, Communications/ Electronic Engineering or comparable
• At least 7 years experience in embedded software development and system design
• Strong experience in building embedded Linux systems
• Excellent C/C++ programming skills
• Experience in building low-power MCU & MPU systems is a plus
• Experience with connected devices including various communication protocols and technologies (Bluetooth, Wifi, 4G, 5G…) is a plus
• Ability to speak, understand and write German and English fluently
