PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The "Core Application Services" team provides central software components ready for reuse in business applications. Some examples are: email, electronic data interchange, interactive and print forms, archiving. We are 27 software developers and are looking for a graduate or young professional (T1 or T2) for the currently six-member team "Application Link Enabling " to further strengthen them. In addition to the ALE topics, the team is also responsible for the number ranges and change documents components.
 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Current focus of our work is the porting of our S/4 solutions to Fiori and the development of the product SCP ABAP Environment (code name "Steampunk"). We are full stack developers and we are proud of it.
As such, we are also responsible for the entire life cycle of our products, i.e. from the product idea to the sunset, for development and development support.

Our reuse frameworks are used by almost all SAP products and are known throughout the entire SAP world. Therefore, the consulting of colleagues and the support of customers, as well as working with partners, is an important part of our work.

One of SAP’s unique qualities is product support. Consequently, another focus of our work is the regular exchange of knowledge with our SAP First level support organization.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills

• Degree as IT specialist, bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, natural sciences, engineering, economics or similar.
• Good knowledge of an object-oriented programming language.
• Fluent language proficiency in German and English, spoken and written (B2).
• Willingness to learn and familiarize yourself with new SAP technologies.
• Enjoying working in a team.
• A sense of mastering complexity, abstract and analytical thinking as well as structuring and problem-solving skills are part of your strengths.

Preferred skills

Knowledge of Core Data Services and Fiori / SAPUI5 is useful, but not a must

WORK EXPERIENCE

We are looking for candidates who have recently completed their studies / vocational training or will complete this year or have up to 3 years of professional experience. Graduates are welcome!
