PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The "Core Application Services" team provides central software components for reuse in business applications. Some examples are: Email, electronic data exchange, forms processing for print and interactive forms, archiving. We are 27 software developers and are looking for a graduate or young professional to join the currently eight-member Scrum team "Forms Processing".

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
The current focus of our work is the porting of our form solution within the SAP Cloud Platform from Neo to Cloud Foundry, as well as the further development for S/4HANA Cloud Output Management. Our development tasks cover the entire Stack, from backend to UI (Fiori Apps). For this we are looking for someone with good Java and SAPUI5 skills. ABAP knowledge is an advantage. An interesting part of our job is the cooperation with our partner Adobe, whose software we integrate into our solution. Our forms frameworks are used by almost all SAP products and are known throughout the entire SAP world. Therefore, the consulting of colleagues and the support of customers, as well as working with partners, is an important part of our work. One of SAP’s unique qualities is product support. Consequently, another focus of our work is the regular exchange of knowledge with our SAP First level support organization. An interesting and exiting job environment is waiting for you. We will provide you with extensive training to ensure that you are up to the new challenges. For this purpose, we have set up a training series that you will go through from the very beginning.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Required skills

• Degree as IT specialist, bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, natural sciences, engineering, economics or similar.
• Good knowledge of an object-oriented programming language.
• Fluent language proficiency in German and English, spoken and written (B2).
• Willingness to learn and familiarize yourself with new SAP technologies.
• Enjoying working in a team.
• A sense of mastering complexity, abstract and analytical thinking as well as structuring and problem-solving skills are part of your strengths.

Preferred skills

Knowledge of Core Data Services and Fiori / SAPUI5 is useful, but not a must.

WORK EXPERIENCE
We are looking for candidates who have recently completed their studies / vocational training or will complete this year or have up to 3 years of professional experience. Graduates are welcome!
