We are looking for you to support DB Netz AG as an intern starting on 1 May 2020 in Frankfurt am Main.
Your tasks:
- Developing a Proof of Concept for Automated Planning of elements for digital control-command and signalling systems.
- Translation of the DB Netz Rulebook using Logical Programming Language as well as Formal methods
- Supporting the Geospatial analysis by implementing current Standards and Projects (EULYNX DataPrep, RTM, Digital Maps, BIM) on Sample Data.
Your profile:
- Experience with statistical concepts, analytics, and solving problems using data
- Experience with programming languages (e.g., Java, Javascript, C++, C#, R, Python, Scala, etc.)
- Experience in Geospatial Analysis and Logical Programming will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in industry-standard tools for sharing code and resolving issues e.g. GitHub
- Interest in Enterprise Design Thinking and Agile development methodologies
- Working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary international environment
- No German language skills required as work and collaboration is based on English
