Manager Procurement Controlling (f/m/d) in Hamburg

• Act as Business Partner to Procurement and foster cross functional cooperation as member of the Procurement Management Team (e.g. aligning priorities, target setting, performance tracking, etc.)
• Steering planning and reporting process for procurement as an integral part of Supply Chain planning and reporting (e.g. material price planning, procurement savings management, etc.)
• Analysis of material pricing trends and category spend to give recommendation to the Procurement Management team as input for strategic price negotiation and source of short, mid and long term efficiency as well as input to commercial functions for RSP setting
• Foster global material flow map to drive most efficient sourcing (localization vs. global sourcing scale)
• Develop and implement a global Third Party Manufacturing concept in liaison with internal Manufacturing function and the Beiersdorf sourcing decision process (Make or Buy)
• Leadership of a team as well as employee development

• A master’s degree in Business Administration or similar
• Several years working experience as Procurement Controller or Procurement Category Manager or in a similar position
• In-depth know how of Procurement and Supply Chain processes as well as Controlling tools
• Strong personality with excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills
• Strong numerical reasoning and highly developed analytical skills, self-reliant with strong organizational skills
• Project management experience
• Ability to challenge and improve ways of working
• Capability to handle multiple and interdisciplinary interfaces
• Experience in employee management
• Fluent in English, German is advantageous
