PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP's Industry Cloud group drives competitive advantage for SAP by combining products across all market categories into powerful end-to-end Industry solutions and coordinates end-to-end execution across the different SAP functional areas: Product Development, Sales, and Services. Solution experts in this area work on the commercialization strategy and go-to-market for a specific end-to-end solution in the industry context.

Public Sector represents one of the strategic industries at SAP. We are targeting a 10,6+ bn € market potential, representing 11% of SAP’s addressable market. Our more than 8.800 customers in 138 countries include 58% of the United Nations member governments. The Global Industry Business Unit for Public Sector (IBU PS) drives the SAP solution, Go-to-Market and monetization strategy for Federal, State and Local Governments as well as Postal Services.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Project Work: Support e.g. industry segmentation projects:

• Understand SAP industry assignment of customers
• Prepare presentations
• Drive execution of dedicated follow-up tasks resulting from these projects

Operational Support: Besides Project work we are running multiple different topics where support is appreciated:

• Organizing enablement sessions
• Be the main contact for internal JAM page / TEAMS

Expectations:

• Establish close relationship to team
• Build knowledge about tools & internal organizations
• Build knowledge about specific SAP solutions
• Demonstrate flexibility and speed

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Student (f/m/d) at university or university of applied sciences
• Computer skills: Excellent Microsoft skills, especially PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Language skills: Fluent in German and English

• excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willing to work in international teams
• Good networking skills
• Reporting and analytical capabilities
• Flexibility and focus on results
• Proactive and self-dependent working style
• Goal-orientation and affinity to structure
