PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

IT Business Services organization within IES (Intelligent Enterprise Solution), is bringing innovation to life and value to our customers, making SAP an intelligent enterprise by implementing the latest SAP solutions (Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR etc.) within SAP. Within IT Business Services, the Corporate Finance IT Services (CFITS) department helps SAP’s lines of business to run simple by enabling SAP’s digital transformation for the areas of Controlling, Compliance, Core Finance, Facility Management, Finance Contract Accounting and Revenue Accounting.

The IT Revenue Accounting Center of Expertise is part of the CFITS organization and is responsible for the implementation and enhancement of revenue recognition processes, tools, and operating models via the Revenue Accounting module. The team implements revenue recognition processes for new business models, migrates revenue data from legacy system and uses latest SAP technology to create Apps and automations using iRPA and Conversational AI.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

The IT RA CoE team is looking for an intern to work with the team in Walldorf for a minimum 6-month duration, starting immediately, either full time (preferable) or part time (minimum 20 hours a week).

• The intern would assist the team by coordinating and facilitating discussions with the Product Engineering organization to resolve Standard Product issues
• Assist in compiling the KPIs which ascertains the health of RAR system
• Work on test script automation, process automation (iRPA) and SAP Fiori Apps development.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• You are currently an enrolled student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences:
• Studying preferably in the fields: Computer Science, Information Systems
• Interested in learning  iRPA , test automation or App development
• Organized, detail oriented, strong written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English
• Have experience with software programming languages such as Python, SQL, JAVA, HTML, etc.
• Highly motivated, readily adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment
