WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Planning, development and implementation of Java applications, especially webshop and catalogue management applications as an in-house solution
• Creation of technical concepts and system documentation
• Maintenance and further development of existing applications
• Preparation of expense estimates for development contracts
• Operation of Java applications and interfaces to adjacent systems
• Planning and implementation of training for users
• Support and contact person for application users as second level support
• Project implementation and documentation, management of external service providers

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Degree in computer science or an apprenticeship with a technical and/or economic background
• Very good knowledge in the development of object-oriented software components as well as knowledge of current Java frameworks and web techniques
• Very good knowledge of Java (standards, programming and patterns)
• Experience in the integration of the databases Oracle and/or MS SQL-Server
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and XML as well as practical experience in development with
  IntelliJ, Angular and Tomcat Application Server are desirable
• Knowledge of Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory and Hibernate is an advantage
• Desirable are skills in Big Data Processing (e.g. Apache Hadoop)
• Good German and English language skills
• Personally, you are characterized by your commitment and flexibility. You solve problems analytically, purposefully and creatively
