About the team
Our department Engineering and Delivery Services is part of SAP Cloud Platform Core. The team is responsible for providing Continuous Integration & Delivery Services for SAP customers. We are leveraging the power of state-of-the-art technologies like containers (Docker), Kubernetes and others to enhance and innovate our service offering continuously. If you join us, you will be part of a team which applies Scrum to organize and plan deliverables to stakeholders. The team is working in DevOps mode, bringing together development and operational tasks within one team.

The Role
As a Developer Associate (f/m/d) you will be part of a Scrum team located in Walldorf. Your tasks will consist of software development activities for providing Continuous Integration and Delivery services on SAP CP Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes, leveraging and extending your skills in Java, (SAP) UI5, Go, etc. To ensure highest quality of our services you are expected to apply agile software methodologies in your daily work.
Your job includes interaction with customers consuming our services, therefore good communication skills and openness are essential. You will get the possibility to work with colleagues from all over the world. 
Above all you should have an open mind. We expect you want to learn a lot of new and cool stuff - new technologies, methodologies, and ways to think out-of-the-box. We don’t just expect you to learn from us – we want you to share your fresh insights and ideas actively with us as well. Besides the technical aspects a good understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and DevOps principles is required.

Role Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related fields.
• Programming skills preferably in Java, JavaScript or Go.
• Good understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and DevOps principles and tools.
• Knowledge of agile software development methodologies.
• Team player attitude.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to new tasks.
• Good communication skills in English and German.

Work Experience
0-3 years. Graduates are welcome!
