PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

As part of Board area Customer Success, the Intelligent Delivery Group unit is implementing end-to-end solutions with our customers by translating their aspirations into business solutions. We strengthen the relationship with our customers and strive for long-term engagements.

SAP is currently expanding a team that drives incubuation of latest machine learning technology services with our customers, helping them to improve their business results based on scientific analysis of large amounts of business data and apply machine learning models to build the intelligent enterprise.

In this role, the machine learning expert works directly with industry experts and technology experts to translate our customers’ business needs into solutions based on SAP Cloud architecture offerings and taking care of the implementation, projects in RPA, Chatbots or Image Recognition

This position requires the ability to work and communicate in an dynamic, interdisciplinary and intercultural team in an agile and efficient way.

As a thought leader in Machine Learning you know that learning and personal development is a must and therefore ensure that you keep track of the latest developments and share your knowledge actively with others. This is part of our obligation to help to scale the responsible delivery units after we prepared the ground for scaling.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Background in Machine Learning Technologies and concepts
• Experience in handling high data volumes
• Experience in creating and describing software solution concepts
•  Deliver Service Offerings for Machine Learning Components
• Participation in Sales Cycle

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science
• Programming Skills, like Java, Python, Javascript
• German/English in written and spoken language

Preferred skills

• Understanding of Machine Learnig Programming Frameworks, like Tensorflow, SciKit
• Database Knowledge
• Web and Cloud Computing Knowledge
• Knowlede in one of the following topics; Process Automation, Chatbots, Image Recognition
