WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Ensuring the cross-sectional function of systems engineer with focus on AGE/engine test beds
  • Assessment and technical responsibility of quantity structures, implementation efforts, deadlines and costs for development, integration and commissioning in consultation with the project management, towards subcontractors or other external or internal company bodies
  • Independent development or design in the development process based on Requirement Based Engineering (V-model), as well as DO-160, Certification Specifications, etc.
  • Review of design/manufacturing documents, strength certificates, complaint reports, construction deviations, technical-logistical documentation such as repair instructions and service bulletins
  • Ensuring the completeness and system compatibility of all specifications for internal and external service providers
  • Preparation or amendment of model documents
  • Preparation of the required manuals and templates
  • Preparation of training materials and implementation/support of training
  • Checking the status of the organisational units providing the services or the designated employees with regard to performance, quality, deadlines and costs

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • Degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable
  • Experience in the development and design of engine test benches and electromechanical systems for (aircraft) vehicles
  • Experience in the field of thermodynamic analysis and engine technology
  • Experience in the field of certification/verification and operation of (aircraft) vehicles or aviation systems or certification-relevant verification
  • Experience in the application and interpretation of the RTCA DO-160, DO-178 and Certification Specifications (CS)
  • Experience in project work and the handling of projects in the field of military/civil aviation technology or comparable projects
  • CAE knowledge and programming experience are an advantage
  • Good written and spoken English and German language skills
  • Europe-wide readiness to travel
