BASF 3D Printing Solutions GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of BASF New Business GmbH. Within structures similar to those of a startup, we serve our customers in the automotive, aerospace and consumer goods industries in a dynamic market. We build the business in materials, system solutions, components and services in the 3D printing segment and work closely with the global research platforms and application technicians of BASF.

Support our virtual engineering team in several GCode development projects.

• Main part of your work will be the analysis, manipulation and implementation of GCodes.
• You will work on a graphical user interface (GUI) for developed and existing scripts as well as prepare material and print studies using developed GCode scripts.
• Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to work self-organized on projects or tasks.
• You will report your results to your supervisor as well as present and discuss them within the engineering team.

• You are in an advanced level of your bachelor studies in engineering, IT, physics, mathematics or a comparable discipline.
• Additionally, you are experienced in programming for example with Python or C++ and have a good understanding of algorithm development and slicer softwares, preferably Cura.
• On a personal level, you enjoy communicating fluently in German and English as well as to find sustainable solutions together with the team.
