Our Color Science and Technology unit is the competence center for colorimetry within BASF. We develop processes and software to calculate color formulas and support the quality control of coatings.

• In the role of Frontend Developer, you will support our global Coatings Technology research unit in the development and optimization of software programs.
• You will further develop and refine an existing software program for process control in the production of coatings.
• To this end, you will identify the needs and requirements of users and implement them in a user-friendly user interface.
• Participating in cross-team projects will round out your duties.

• You have completed a formal vocational training program in a technical or engineering-related field or have a degree in physical or life sciences, computer science or engineering.
• In your activities to date, you have gained practical and/or project experience in the development of Web GUIs, preferably using HTML, CSS and Angular.
• Ideally, you are familiar with REST Web services. In addition, good skills in C++, Qt and Boost are desirable.
