PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The lean service processes and features in the SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement solution will be enhanced by further development of the service entry sheet application.

This app is our modern service procurement-specific app, supporting users in complex and challenging situations when recording services. Our goal is to further enhance the app by offering users all the necessary information for making educated decisions.

To strengthen our service entry sheet team in Walldorf, we are looking for an enthusiastic User Assistance Developer (Associate) (f/m/d) with customer focus. As part of your team, you will be responsible for covering all documentation deliverables within the end-to-end scenario of Service Procurement. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

After an initial on-the-job training, you will be responsible for the following:

• Researching and defining terminology that is simple, consistent, and conforms to industry standards
• Defining and editing texts for the user interface in close collaboration with UI designers and development teams
• Writing user assistance in English with a high level of quality for Procurement software applications
• Handling your tasks with enthusiasm and personal commitment
• Building and expanding business knowledge within Procurement & MM

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills

• University degree; preferably in Technical Writing, Business Studies, or a language-based university degree
• Excellent proficiency (both written and verbal) in English, and fluent in German
• Willingness to acquire extensive product knowledge and learn new skills at short notice
• Ability to work on different parallel activities and in multiple teams under tight deadlines

Preferred skills

• Experience working on XML authoring or DITA
• Ability to express complex technical information in a clear and precise manner
• Outstanding communication, writing, and grammar skills
   

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Experience as a technical writer is an advantage.
