PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Is this your mantra, too? Than join our UX team in humanizing SAP IT’s business applications.

Together with the UX Designers of our team, you will work along the design-led development process and support gathering the user’s needs through interviews and Usability Tests as well as measuring the usability of the solutions.

As a valuable member of our UX team in SAPs IT organization, you will be able to influence the user experience for all SAP-internal applications. 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • You support the execution of usability tests of various tools in multiple roles, starting as a note taker / observer and advancing to a moderator. Usability Testing can reach from card sorting to testing of an application, from testing in our Usability Lab to testing remotely.
  • You support experienced UX Designers in user research, i.e. identifying user needs, measuring usability satisfaction etc. and to gaining insights from research to optimize the design.
  • You support the UX team in creating customer reference stories, keeping track of progress of key activities as well as helping to communicate successful UX activities.
  • You will work closely with UX experts and IT product teams. 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Preferred fields of study: Business Informatics / Informatics / Interaction Design / Business Administration / Psychology / Sociology / Social Anthropology
  • Computer skills: MS Office, knowledge of prototyping tools an advantage
  • Analytical skills: knowledge of quantitative and qualitative UX methods is an advantage
  • Language skills: EN, DE
  • Soft skills: Team player, enthusiastic, open-minded, customer-oriented, communicative, self-driven, reliable
  • Others: Knowledge in Design Thinking, user-centered design and agile development methods is a plus

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and UX research methods.
