PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

User Experience is of vital importance to the success of all SAP products. Therefore, SAP constantly evaluates and improves its products to ensure that SAP users get the best user experience possible. As part of the SAP User Experience Team, UX Engineering leads activities across different organizations to provide all needed building blocks to scale the adoption of SAP Fiori and accelerate the speed of bringing UX innovation into the hands of our customers. With our Fiori elements floorplans and tools we enable thousands of developers across the world to build desirable and reliable applications with the highest possible quality.
The Fiori elements tools team is part of this organization. Its focus is on developing tools for building Fiori apps. One of such tools is the Annotation Modeler Plugin of the UX Tools Suite that will be available in the Microsoft Visual Studio Code marketplace and also as part the SAP Business Application Studio. It supports the creation and editing of OData annotations used to define the user interface of model-based applications. This tool is being developed by a development team looking for a working student to contribute to the team activities.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As a working student, (f/m/d) you will perform different kinds of the development tasks with the focus on increasing the test automation coverage.
Further possible tasks include one or more of the following:

• Develop small functional enhancements
• Provide bugfixes
• Execute and update manual test cases
• Contribute to the POCs and refactoring tasks

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Sudent (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences in Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering or similar
• Basic experience with JavaScript development
• Knowledge of TypeScript, OData or Microsoft Visual Studio Code is a plus
• Good German and English language skills
• Flexibility and ability to learn new subject matter quickly
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly self-motivated and an excellent team player

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
