At New Moon Production we specialize in game development for both mobile and web (html5). Our studio is looking for an Animator (all genders) to kick ass working across a number of our titles delivering high quality animations that bring life and magic to our games. In this role you will be working in a small, passionate art team to bring new and exciting content to our players.

As an Animator (all genders), you will utilize your skills to animate everything from characters and environmental assets to UI elements. We are looking for someone with a convincing portfolio that has experience working in a game team environment.

Your Job:

• Create and animate characters, environments, and effect assets in different styles
• Bring to life characters, effects, and ambient effects in broad as well as subtle animations
• Work with engineers to achieve the best possible animation within the platform limitations
• Apply your knowledge of optimization techniques to meet memory constraints
• Assist with art reviews, giving verbal and visual feedback when needed, and provide guidance to entering junior level studio animators
• Revise animations as requested by the art director
• Meet project milestones and deadlines set by the studio

Your Profile:

• Completed training or a degree in art, animation, visual effects, or an equivalent education (however we consider a good portfolio and team fit to be more important)
• Several years of professional experience as an Animator
• Knowledge of Spine and the Unity game engine 2D/3D would be advantageous
• Very good communication skills and you enjoy working in a team
• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
• Passion for developing or playing games
