Ihre Aufgaben

Are you a strong eCommerce talent with a proven track record?

This is an amazing opportunity to join our energetic and passionate team comprising a mix of new and experienced Beiersdorf colleagues. Located in the heart of Hamburg (one of the nicest cities in Europe) you will work on some of the world’s most iconic brands. Your task it to help set the course of the business for the next years by steering our ecommerce strategy and growth. Your job along with your direct report will be to develop digital initiatives and turn eCommerce into a major growth channel – due to a high selling price. Responsibilities range from directly consulting countries on their route to market approach, challenging their growth plans plus analyzing ‘out of the box’ growth opportunities. Due to the high-selling price of our products you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on our organization. Beiersdorf believes in eCommerce and you will present to board members on a regular basis. Now we need the right person to jump into this growth channel, and put some numbers behind the vision! You will report into the Global Head of Digital - Derma & Healthcare.

Futhermore:

  • Work with, consult and challenge countries on their chosen route to market approach. Understand their current eCommerce business incl. market size & competitor activity, and ensure they take the right steps to grow while protecting the long term ambitions.
  • Identify new approaches to how we as a business view and operate within the eCommerce arena, including how we handle accounts and how we approach the variable type of customers (marketplaces vs. pure-players vs. direct to consumer etc.).
  • Manage stakeholders and expectations between the two businesses of dermo-cosmetics and our healthcare business – which are very different from one another.
  • Be the global contact for ‘all things eCommerce’ within a team of digital specialists.
Ihr Profil
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with long years of experience in eCommerce
  • Sales key account management experience with a full understanding of TTCs
  • Marketplace experience (e.g. Amazon, bol.com)
  • International experience, ideally in Asia (Alibaba & JD) would be a major advantage
  • Experience for a B2C brand, ideally FMCG
  • Conceptual knowledge of multi-channel and assortment strategies and operations
  • A strong commercial sense to identify opportunities and grow the business and a data-driven aptitude in decision making
  • Ability to utilize data/data analytics to drive decisions related to eCommerce, user experience and content management
  • Self-starter mentality with drive and motivation, outstanding interpersonal skills including strong written & verbal communication skills
